A Lifetime of Leadership
For more than 30 years, I've had the privilege of serving students, mentoring leaders, advocating for women in sports, and helping shape the future of athletic administration.
The recognitions below represent milestones along that journey, but the greatest reward has always been the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.

While I'm deeply grateful for each of these recognitions, none of them has ever been the goal.
Every award represents years of service, remarkable mentors, supportive colleagues, incredible students, and opportunities to lead alongside people who believed in me. Together, they tell the story of a career dedicated to creating opportunities, mentoring leaders, and advancing high school athletics.

More Than Recognition
Every recognition on this page reminds me of the same truth: leadership has never been about collecting awards.
It has always been about serving others, creating opportunities where they didn't exist, and helping the next generation of leaders discover that they belong.
Those are the milestones that matter most.

Leadership Is About Service
For more than 30 years, I've had the privilege of serving in roles that have challenged me to grow, encouraged me to lead, and allowed me to advocate for students, coaches, and women across our profession.
Each leadership opportunity has reinforced the same belief:
Leadership isn't measured by the titles we hold. It's measured by the lives we influence and the opportunities we create for others.
WHY I CONTINUE TO SERVE
When people visit this page, it's easy to focus on the awards, leadership roles, and milestones. Those recognitions are meaningful, and I am deeply grateful for each one. But none of them tells the full story. Behind every award is a student whose life was changed, a coach who grew into a stronger leader, a mentor who believed in me, or a colleague who challenged me to become better. Those are the moments that have shaped my career far more than any plaque or title ever could.
Over the past 30-plus years, I've come to understand that leadership is a privilege. Every opportunity I've been given has come because someone invested in me, opened a door, offered encouragement, or believed I was capable of more than I could see in myself. Those acts of generosity created opportunities that changed the course of my life, and they also gave me a responsibility to do the same for others.
That is why I continue to serve.
Whether I'm mentoring a new athletic administrator, advocating for women in sports, serving on a state or national leadership board, or simply encouraging someone who is questioning whether they belong, my purpose remains the same. I want to help people discover their potential, find their voice, and realize that leadership isn't reserved for a select few. It's available to anyone who is willing to serve, to learn, and to create opportunities for others.
I've learned that awards eventually gather dust, leadership positions change, and careers evolve. What endures are the relationships we build, the people we encourage, and the confidence we help others discover within themselves. Those are the things that continue long after the titles have changed.
If there's one lesson my journey has taught me, it's this: leadership has never been about standing in the spotlight. It's about making sure someone else has the confidence to step into theirs. If my work has helped one student dream bigger, one coach lead with greater purpose, or one woman believe she belongs at the table, then every hour, every challenge, and every opportunity to serve has been worth it.
That is why I continue to serve.
